Our Story

The business is founded by Chef Oscar Muñiz, a native of Rincón. Chef Oscar has over 30 years of experience in French, Italian, and Puerto Rican haute cuisine. He worked in various restaurants in N.Y., specifically in the Hamptons for 8 years during the peak season. In 2011, he worked at La Fortaleza, cooking for Governor Fortuño's family in meetings and events. He worked in Atlanta with Legendary Events, a multimillion-dollar catering company, as the Sous Chef in charge of large-scale events and as a personal chef for personalities such as Steve Harvey, Tyler Perry, and former President Clinton. He opened his own catering company, serving corporations like CNN en Español, CNN Sports, and MLB, among others. He opened a Puerto Rican restaurant in Atlanta from 2017 to 2020, and upon closing due to the pandemic, he returned to Puerto Rico in 2020 to create the restaurant of his dreams. A creative fine dining establishment in his hometown to bring to life his ability to create menus with different and unusual combinations of flavors and fresh ingredients, both local and international.
